2021, the year of all the awards for Bakus, the autonomous and electric vineyard robot of VitiBot

Since the launch of VitiBot and Bakus, its autonomous and electric vineyard robot, numerous awards and recognitions have been delivered to the company and its product.

2021 will be another great year for trophies and competitions.

Small overview.

The innovation awards

???? Gold medal at SIMA for vitidrives

We talked about it at the beginning of 2021 in this post. Our Vitidrives are emblematic elements of all the high-level embedded electronics on our robots. They embody the ability to control and monitor all the actuators and electrical tools embedded in a machine.

In April, we received the most beautiful award for these innovative boxes with the gold medal of the SIMA innovation awards.

???? Silver medal at SITEVI Innovation awards for confined spraying with recovery panels

The confined spraying with recovery panels of VitiBot is an innovative, fully electric equipment adapted to the Bakus automated vineyard platform.

This spraying has many advantages :

  • Increased safety for operators who are away from the products
  • Energy and product savings
  • A more precise and quality spraying thanks to the most efficient technologies in terms of treatment
  • A drastic reduction of drifts and the reuse of products after re-spraying and filtration.
  • An exceptional silence of work
  • and many others.

To give you an idea of the tool’s performance, here is a demonstration video.

For all these reasons and many more, the SITEVI Innovation awards jury awarded us the silver medal in November 2021.

We would like to thank them warmly.

VitiBot’s recognition in the foodtech, agtech and greentech sectors

Foodtech, agtech, greentech. From now on, these labels are an integral part of our mission to democratize agricultural and viticultural robotics and improve the daily life of producers, but also of consumers..

Let’s not forget that consumers are also at the heart of the challenges for sustainable agriculture and viticulture.

???? ITU-FAO Regional Contest in Europe and Central Asia

Identify, showcase and celebrate best practices and innovative solutions that have proven effective in advancing the digital transformation of agriculture in Europe and Central Asia.

This is how the “Digital Excellence in Agriculture in Europe and Central Asia” competition is defined..

Cn September 2021, our autonomous vineyard robot Bakus and VitiBot as a whole were awarded second place in the category: Agricultural innovation systems and sustainable agriculture – Farm automation, robots, drones.

A great pride for the whole team to see the project being recognized beyond the French borders, but also European.

???? Foodtech 2021

Create a snapshot of the European FoodTech ecosystem in 2021 among more than 3500 active startups. This is the challenge of Digital Food Lab.

So, how proud we are to be in the 50 most interesting startups of this 2021 snapshot.

VitiBot and its products are therefore in the 7 startups of the “Agtech” category.

And if we look at France alone, we are in the top 25 promising companies among 750 startups.

In a word, thank you to Digital Food Lab for this great recognition.
