Polish viticulture has entered a new chapter of mechanization.

On May 13, 2026, during an event organized at Winnica Warto, the autonomous vineyard robot Bakus made its first-ever public appearance in Poland, demonstrating its capabilities in real vineyard conditions before vineyard owners, fruit producers and trade journalists from across the country.

Winnica Warto, located in the Greater Poland region, hosted the event for two groups of participants: trade journalists (from 10:00 AM) and vineyard and orchard owners (from 2:00 PM onward).

The program included theoretical sessions dedicated to VitiBot technology, an overview of the autonomous system’s operating principles, and a detailed presentation of how the Bakus robot and vineyard are prepared for operation – including the vineyard row mapping process that forms the foundation of autonomous navigation.

The highlight of the day was the live field demonstration of Bakus, where participants could observe the robot moving and working autonomously between the vineyard rows of Winnica Warto.

DEUTZ-FAHR – a specialist partner for vineyards

The event at Winnica Warto also featured DEUTZ-FAHR orchard and vineyard tractors – a brand that has been delivering specialist tractor solutions for vineyards and orchards across Poland and Europe for many years.
