VitiBot receives the Gold Medal for Technological Innovation at FERCAM 2026

VitiBot continues to gain international recognition for its ability to drive innovation in viticulture. At the 64th edition of FERCAM, Spain’s National Agricultural Fair held in Manzanares, the autonomous robot Bakus was awarded the Gold Medal for Technological Innovation, one of the event’s most prestigious distinctions.

The award was presented to the solution showcased by VitiBot’s Spanish partner Grupo Avilés, recognizing Bakus’ technological innovation and its contribution to the modernization of vineyard operations.

Fully electric and designed for work in trellised vineyards and super-intensive crops, Bakus operates autonomously following field mapping and offers up to 16 hours of operating autonomy. Compatible with a wide range of implements, including in-row weeders, trimmers and pre-pruners, the robot supports multiple vineyard operations throughout the growing cycle, helping increase efficiency while addressing the growing challenge of labour shortages.

This important recognition confirms VitiBot’s commitment to developing autonomous and sustainable solutions for precision viticulture, providing winegrowers with practical tools to meet the challenges of modern agriculture.

The Gold Medal received at FERCAM 2026 further demonstrates the value of VitiBot’s innovation and the increasing interest in autonomous agricultural robotics across international markets.
